ive built a couple of my own pcs and almost always i use an external sound card i have for my music editing program. but now ive just stuck with the integrated audio on my motherboard. it sucks, it frequently goes out and i cant hear anything. sometimes i can reset it to work again but i mostly have to just restart windows. how do i fix it? ive got the realtek ac97 audio integrated in the motherboard. and i have all the drivers installed. but also this is kinda weird... i got to windows update and theres a driver update for my sound card.. C-media C-Media AC97 Audio Device. thats not what i have. i dunno, help me if you can.
