I own a Thomson 32WT45EA with an integrated dvd player which is Region 2 - PAL, and i live in New Zealand which has a Region of 4. The odd thing is i have tried six 'region 4' dvd's on it and it plays all but one. and will not play any region 1's. Are most dvd's versatile with different region players or is it something about the regions i have? and if it is posible what can i do to change the region/zone? preferably to multi-zone as im unsure with how much you can do with intergrated dvd players. any help much appreciated
You can check for a hack here: http://www.dvdrhelp.com/dvdplayers.php I've seen some DVD's not properly encoded; they say they are region 2 only, but they are actually all regions.
