Intel Application Accelerator and Nero 7

    Is there anyway to get these to happily co-exist on the same PC? As I have an Intel 850 chipset, I find that the IAA, which was designed for this chipset and is part of the default drivers for the board, actually does improve the general performance of the machine. Unfortunately Nero 7 only appears to work if IAA is uninstalled. A soon as I install it, the program locks up the PC each time I try to burn a disc.

    Have you tried using any of the Nero 6 versions?

    No,but as it is version 7 that I bought,I would like to get the benefit from it if possible.

    However, does version 6 co-exist with IAA?

    Couldn't tell you, I was just trying to see if it is a problem with all Nero programs or just Nero 7.
