Could someone tell me why the Core Duo 6750 cost much lesser than the 6700, even though the 6750 appear to be more powerful.

New model, new price cuts, the 6700's old stock which the retailers paid more for, so they're not going to sell for less.

So if your goal was increased performance, which of the two would you choose?

If I was overclocking, the 6700, if not, the 6750.

From what i head the E6750 overclocks just as good if not better than the E6700. Anyways go for he E6750 and don't waste your money on the E6700.

Okay, I'll get the 6750. I'm just amazed that 6750 is $100 cheaper than the 6700.
