    yeah really... and I've never even tried it... I'm hooked on firefox... but that definetly makes me want to check it out

    Do you guys think i should post this in the Safety Valve so more people see it? i think its info that everbody shoould see before picking a browser (ive been using opera 9, however, even before reading this ;)

    Some nice info; however, the FF 1.5 load time seems a bit sketchy to me. Mine usually loads, from a cold start, a lot faster than 17 seconds!

    I've never even given Opera the time of day...might have to re-look at it.

    how much ram u got jamaal, this guy is using 256, which i can tell you from experience that 17 seconds is about right for a cold start on 256 ram, lol ;)

    here on my laptop with 512, its a little bit quicker, but nowhere near the 3 seconds or so for opera.

    See, I knew after I posted that, I should've read a little more! ;)

    I've got 1GB RAM, hence the much quicker startup...

    yeah, opera must open instantly for you :)
