Interesting read in regards to the PS3's poor November sales

    Interesting, I knew a lot of people were semi tech illiterate when it comes to the new format but for them to think dvd's wont play on a blueray player is nuts.

    Some of the original stand alone blu-ray players did not play DVD's, they only played Blu-ray. There was only a few, and it was when they first came out.

    I could careless what they said about the PS3, it's still the best Blu-ray player regardless. My PS3 upconverts DVDs, play Blu-ray movies, play all of my DVD backups (DVD+R) and PS2 games beautifully.
