Capturing analogue through a Canopus device via Firewire into Pinnacle 8 I have noticed at the bottom of the screen (about 1/2 inch or so) is all distorted and discoloured. It looks OK in the canopus preview window, but the distortion does show up in the PS8 preview window and does capture. Any ideas whats causing this? Changing the capture quality in PS8 doesn;t seem to affect it.
I"m not sure but I think I answered this Question on one of your Other Posts, If not then it is caused from the Heads on your VCR makeing Contact with the VHS Tape..That line is allways there but you don"t see it because your TV set has an Overscan area arround the Screen that masks this Line..You can Crop it off after captureing.....
