Internal Error on iPod

    My sisters iPod will connect to the computer, but it won't show up on iTunes. I also plugged it into the computer to install the latest updater on the iPod, but the iPod Updater says, "iPod Manager Internal Error". I can't restore the iPod with the latest Ipod Updater. I tried the soft reset but it is still not working. Is there a way to fix this?

    That sounds like a problem with the updater software, try reinstalling the updater. If you still get that error force the iPod into disc mode [hold down menu and center to reset the iPod, then when the Apple logo appears hold down play and center] and try to restore the firmware again.

    Now the iPod will sync with iTunes, but now it says something like the iPod is in use with another program when i already have closed iTunes.

    wat kinda computer are you using? What os is on it? I'm not sure but I think Windows that aren't 2000 or higher can't recognize usb w/o being restarted. Not sure though since i haven't used anything besides xp and some linux distros for so long.

    It's not just iTunes that uses your iPod.. other applications such as the iPod Updater & iPodWizard can disrupt your iPod whilst in synchronization with iTunes, so make sure such programs are closed..

    I did make sure that everything was closed.
