Hi, I didnt know where else I could post this as I think it might be my router/modem that is making this problem. I have a westell Versalink modem/router, with windows xp. I got kicked offline today (which rarely happens even though I'm on DSL) and my AIM and other messenger services stoped working. I rebooted my computer turned off my modem and waited about 2 mins then restarted everything. So now I am online but the problem is that my router is stuck at 32kbs Yeah, that's right I typed in my ip address to my router to see what was going on and I cant see anything but I do notice that my DSL Connect Rate (Down/Up) 32 KBits/Sec by 448 KBits/Sec.. Can anyone help me? I'm currently running a virus check on the computer and getting rid of spyware.. Only thing my little brain can think of is that when i restarted my computer a virus kicked in (Because I dont restart very often) Has anyone heard of a virus that would do this? -TIA
