    Hi Benbernie,
What OS do you have? And also what version of IE are you running? Do you recieve any error message with the crash? Or any specific thing you're trying to do when it fails? More info may narrow the options to problem solve this.

    Hi again,

I've done some sifting around and found some things to possibly try. It seems there could be several things causing this issue. Also, OS (operating system) is your version of Windows (XP, Vista, etc.) Here's a link I found with many possible solutions to check out

    http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=921470

One thing was about registering services (issue #3). The suggestion was to type them in the Run box (copy and paste them)

    regsvr32 Urlmon.dll
    regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
    regsvr32 Msjava.dll
    regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
    regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
    regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
    regsvr32 Browseui.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll (this command only for Win2000 and XP. Do not use with W98se)

"They should already be registered, but they will either register or they won't; it's as simple as that." Was what a MS tech guy said.
Just thought I'd share that with you also. So maybe one of these will take care of the problem. But of course keep us posted on how you make out. Take care.
