Ok I’ve tried using Internet Explore 6 SP1 on Windows XP Pro SP2, and I’ve tried using Internet Explore 7 BETA to see if that would work but no. I’ve been trying to get onto websites like Overclockers.co.uk and it only ever say Page cannot be displayed, and even general internet surfing is slow at times and I have to restart the PC to get speed up, I recently re-installed Windows XP total format and rebuild. I’m using NTL Cable 1.5MB broadband. Can anyone help me please thanks?
Make sure that your internet conectiong is corrected properly. Like the IP. Second try using firefox. It is alot better unless your an IE guy. Reply back when you check you connection settings
bottem right, left of the clock is there a internet connection setting there? Is it blinking lights, lookin for the IP?

I still can't view http://www.overclockers.co.uk at all. Thanks for all your help by the way I really appreciate it.
Can you connect to the internet in safe mode with networking?? Tap f8 repeatedly as the comp boot's and select safe mode with networking. If you still can't connect it could be a few things.. Heres a few things I want you to try IF it still won't connect in safe mode with neworking. *Go Start > Control Panel. *Double-click Internet Options. *Under Temporary Internet Files, click the Settings button. *Click the View Files button. *Press CTRL+A to select all files. *Press DEL or click the Delete option at the top of the window. *Click the Yes button on the dialog box that appears. *After all the files are gone, close the window. *Click OK two times. *Close Control Panel. Now try and connect.
I assumed you could not log onto any website, am I right?? Does it work in safe mode with networking??
