Hi i have searched forums and even asked microsoft and they gave no specific answer to the question i have. you know the favorites links under the top url address area and under where it says file you have 2 stars "one for your favorites and 1 to add to favorites" well it seems i have all my links when i click the word links on the status bar but when i click the favorites star it does not show the link. microsoft told me just to enable links because they are hidden so i did that and they still wont show up, i then reset IE7 and still nothing, then i did a clean reformat of the drive (which is a new seagate 320GB SATA drive) then reinstalled the basic internet explorer and it works fine though it does not have the stars on the left like IE7. i then rebooted and installed all major updatesand IE7 and now i installed the SP3 service pack then rebooted again. but i still have the same problem "no links when i click the links star. any response is appreciated. hopefully my setup info can help in a way and if needed i can tack screenshots and just tell me how to post them if you need to see them my rebuilt computer setup is: Biostar NF4ST-A9-A01 socket939 MB (temporary board untill i save enough for a top of the line cpu and MB) AMD Athlon 64 4000 CPU thermaltake silent 939 K8 copper heatpipe w/aluminum base 19dba x4 512MB kinston DDR400 ram total ram 2000mb seagate 320GB STS drive as main drive maxtor 1 Terabyte STS storage drive (internal) 680 watt atx Power supply Plextor 800A dvd/rw drive HIS IceQ3 Radeon HD 3870 DDR4 512MB Pci Express thank you for your time.
