'da' thing you want would be a USB Nintendo Wifi adapter.

My wireless router works fine with my DS, shame yours dosn't.
Is there any reason that your DS won't work with it (such as WPA encryption), or is it just plain incompatability?

If by internet you mean web-browsing take a look at opera for the DS, it will be out later this month and is way better than any option out there for the PSP. Having a touch screen for either a virtual keyboard or handwriting recognition makes it way more suited for online use. Plus my DS lite fits nicely in my pocket, how's that PSP feel?

Wow afterduck...Troll much? Does every conversation including the PSP and the DS have to turn into a fanboy flamewar? Tool.

like wifiPSP's original post wasn't flamebate - you all need to get over yourselves. Viper - resorting to name calling? I'm a Troll, I'm a tool, whatever.

I have both DS and PSP, and until recently I liked the games on the DS much better. I just don't understand why people can't just be happy with what they got instead of arguing over which is better. Also, how was wifi's original post flamebait? (other than the fact that he sounds like he was raised in Harlem?)

Anyway, I think its cool the DS is getting a wifi adapter and Opera (Sony's web browser does suck, I use Links).

Good thing I plan on getting both...... eventually.

The DS' wifi does not work with WPA encryption?

Unfortunetly the DS's wifi is not compatible with WPA encryption, so your either going to have to downgrade to WEP encryption, or purchase Nintendo Wifi USB adapter to use only when using your DS.

I just use WEP incription. You only have to enter the code once when you are first setting up the connection and then you can just pick that connection without having to reenter the code. The USB adapter is a waste of money.

I agree with the waste of money, but WEP is very insecure. It stops novice users from accessing your network but not and advanced users.

For instance I use WEP (so I can use my DS) but also use MAC filtering so no-one else should be able to access my network (unless they have alot of knowledge on the subject).

My neighbours also have WEP, but they are only novice computer users and had not setup MAC filtering or anything else, using my laptop I was able to start using their network within 10mins, i then went over and told them how to fix it of course ;)

They now use WPA, which is much more secure, but of course if they ever get a DS they'll have to go back to WEP to use the online features.

well my network is very advanced and it wouldn't be a simple matter for me to just switch to WEP.

So purchasing extra hardwrae will be yu only option then.
Theres either Datels Wifi Max or Nintendos USB Wifi.

I havn't used either of these so I can't give you a recommendation as to which one is better.
