    Hello all,
Recently a problem has arisen for my Bellsout ADSL 1024/384 internet service... the best way to describe it is that my internet hiccoughs. I will be using it and for about 5 seconds i will just lose connection. This can be a problem with instant messaging and gaming... if i could figure out where the hiccough happened (between modem and comp, between modem and phone jack, etc.) it would help....i've wondered if i should connect the USB cord in addition to the ethernet cable. Any help would be appreciated!
    Danke!

You don't need to hook up the USB if you are already connected via ethernet. I think BellSouth uses the Westell DSL modems, if that is what you have you should be able to type: http://192.168.1.254 in your browser and get to the modem configuration. There should be an option for diagnostics and self test there.
