I have a SURFboard sb4100 cable modem, and on the back it has two out puts ethernet and usb, what would give me more speed, if i went ethernet cord solo, or i had them both hooked up to my pc, then when into the network connections and bridged them.

    thank you for looking.

either would give u the same speed, as the maximum internet goes is 8 mb and the lowest ethernet is 10mb so it doesnt really matter what u do ur going to get the same performance.

I agree with wdowsing on the speed but I also prefer using Ethernet over USB for network connections. USB is usually for those older PC's without an Ethernet connection.
