I just got InterVideo DVD Copy 4 and am using it with AnyDVD. I have successfully converted DVDs to MP4 format for my iPod, but am having trouble copying DVD to DVD. The movie that I'm working with is 'Breaking Away' (old goofy cycling movie). I got it to MP4 just fine, but when I click the burn button to try to copy from orignal disk to blank (8x DVD-R 7.4GB), I get a message that says "media not ready". I've got the original in the DVD rom and the blank in the DVD burner. I have selected to fit the media on one disk (I tried all of the other settings too). When this didn't work, I ripped it to the hard drive and then tried to burn it from the hard drive to the blank disk, but got the same error message. Any ideas. BTW: I am a complete newbie if you couldn't already tell.
it is do sad that the transcoder that produces the best picture quality has as much problems as IC4 or 3 has. use the search window and you will see. my advice, forget it about it, use shrink or if you don't mind spending some $$$, by cloedvd2 or nero recode2.
