intervideo help!!!

    i have intervideo windvd creator and i want to know how to put my vhs tapes onto my computer. i have a s-cable, so could i just hook that up to my vcr and laptop or do i need something else? also do u know where i can find a guide on recording from vcr to intervideo? thanks for ur help.

    Do you have a capture card? If so, just plug the S-Video cable into the VCR and the other end into your capture card. Usually, they included audio cables (one white and one red) which form a Y and connect to your audio card or MIC in input.

    Also most video cards have S-Video out and are not capture cards. Look the model up on the Internet to see what kind of video card it is. If it is a capture card then in the Intervideo software there will be a capture option. When you choose it your VCR screen will be displayed showing you that it is setup properly. Make your desired capture settings and capture away.
