I have finally given up! After weeks of struggling to learn new bits of software, I have finally decided to see if anyone else has the solution to my problem. About a month ago I got a new Laptop, with my first DVD burner (^_^) But when I used InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2, the audio started going out of sync with the video bit by bit, until by the end of the film where there is almosy a full 2 second audio delay, deeming the film almost totally unwatchable. It is not a problem with my burner because it even does this in the preview of the movie. I even saved the entire movie (Menus 'n' all) in a .Vob format and burnt it with different software, that didn't work eather. Could it be the input file format that is wrong? (I've tried Mpeg 1 and DivX) Please Help PS: At hand I have the following software to use straight away, so I would appriciate if you tried to solve my problem with what I have got without me going and buying more: InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2, Sonic Record Now! Trial, Clone DVD 2, AnyDVD, Viso DivX2DVD
heres what you do... first of all, is it the video file itself that is out of sync, if so re-acquire, if not, continue. personaly i tink dat WinDVD creator 2 is a pile of sh*t. and you ain't got no good softs. aside from AnyDVD and CloneDVD, get nero i know you said a soft you got, but nero is a necessity, either buy or download its your choice how you go about acquirin the full ting. now if you had Nero Vision Express, you would have less of a problem. don't try converting to vob first, just run directly through nero, once you get you won't be sorry, probably one of the best softs i eva bought. get it, try it, do whatever the hell you want with it but get it !!! you wont be sorry. nero is great plus im pretty sure this site holds guides for other softs you may be able to use, its your choice. do as you please, continue posting what you think, and if you carry out my suggestions, post your results...
Tar, my Dad's got Nero with his new computer, I'll install that and have a play. I'll b back in about 1/2 to tell you it aint worked ;-p Cheers again EDIT: I think you may have got the wrong end of the stick with that 1 i can get my Videos onto DVD 'n' everthing, its just that I want to add chaptering and Menus to give it a more professional look. I can burn my own Video-DVDs but there are no menus for chapter/episode selection Thanks again for your time
check again. you can do all that stuff with nero. if you dont like it, download Sony DVD Architect, it is probably the most open program for creating DVD's, you name it, it will do it. the only prob. is that it takes a little while (Half hour max i think) to encode movie files, but its worth the wait...
