Ok, I've looked around and seen this problem posted before for other software. But here's my specific problem.

Captured the video onto hard drive and it saved it as an .mpg (MPEG II). When the .mpg file is played using Windows Media Player, everything is fine. When it is imported (drag & drop) into WinDVD Creator under the Edit menu, then I play it, then in the preview screen the audio is not in sync.

I hear all of this stuff about frame rate this and that, but I don't see where to adjust all of that in the software.

    Any advice is much appreciated!!!

I have the same exact problem. I like to record some shows from my tuner card(Hauppauge) and convert them to video DVD. Have been doing this for over a year, everything has been fine. One morning I started creating my DVD with WinDVD Creater 2 and the audio and video were out of sync. So....I thought it might be the recorded MPEG file. I viewed it in Windows Media Player - fine. Viewed it with Nero - fine. Viewed it with Snapstream Beyond TV - FINE. Talk about getting frustrated..... Then I upgraded my WinDVD Creator to V3. And of course you all can guess... no difference($49.95). Still out of SYNC. If you have received any ideas or answers I would appreciate it if you would shar with me. Thanks.

Similar problem here: the "same" mpg file seems to have problem with sound synchronization when I use WinDVD Creator 3 Plat. - but no problem with WinDVD Creator 2 Plat.! - same settings, same files! They have probably messed up the new version - it is a shame, really, since they don't seem inclined to provide any better new versions.
