Intervideo WinDVD creator wont output to DVD

I went through the steps to make a DVD in INtervideo's WINDVD creator and when I click make disc the only burning option i get is to make a VCD. ANy suggestions?

Sounds like it is not recognizing your dvd burner.

How would i go about getting WinDVD Creator to recognize my DVD-RW?

 

A couple things come to mind. You might want to check this out:

This lists supported devices for their software. If yours isn't in the list, contact your burner manufacturer for any update drivers. Did Creator come with your burner? Also, are you using the correct dvd format? If it is a dvd-rw burner, then you would have complimenting media. These are only thoughts. If only this software had good support. I love the program, it is just so disgusting that the support is near zilch. Hope this helps.
