hi, let's have LAST section of your Nero log which lives in c:\program files\ahead\nero\nerohistory.log but DO NOT post your serial number which usually begins with '1A21' or similar. You can differentiate sections via this section divider "====== *** Nero-Burning Rom, History File *** ======"

Your Nero is out of dated, update to the latest of Nero 6 Ultra (6.6.0.16)

I have no clue what brand/model is your dvd burner. Go here http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_all.php and look for the latest firmware available for your burner and update the firmware. This helps to recognize other new media and codes.

Memory is sort of low, try to free up more if you can by goig to START, RUN, and type "msconfig" then disable any unneccessary programs that's using your cpu. Or "ctr+alt+del" and disable any programs that you don't need in prior to the burning process.

Oh god... not another CMC MAG. This is inferior when comparing to high quality media. High quality media are Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Maxell "Made In Japan", and Ritek. Genuine Yuden media can be found on the FUJI & SONY 8X DVD+R "Made In Japan."

This is crazy. Never ever burn at any higher than 8X at the max. Most of the knowledgeable members recommend to burn at only 4X.
