What's the title of that movie you are ripping? Invalid navigation error is usually due to the newer encryptions. Dvd shrink can't handle these newer encryptions because it hasn't been updated for almost 2 years. Some of the newer encryptions will also give dvd shrink a crc error..Usually if a newer encryption is the culprit,shrink will fail during the initial analyzing or when you re-author and drag main movie over.-it'll freeze. There's other ways around it. Try ripping with dvd fab decrypter,then use dvd shrink to compress.It's free Voblanker is another program.It's free Dvd decrypter-but it hasn't been updated for a while either.It's free. I use anydvd by slysoft. It's a background ripper.No extra step.You get a free 21 day trial,but costs $35-$40. I leave anydvd disabled,until dvd shrink gives me any issues.Usually simply turning anydvd on and proceed at my normal backup process and issue solved.
