'Invalid Function'

    I've had a problem with a few disks that I've tried to back up.
    DVD Shrink will start to analyse them and then come up with the error 'Invalid Function' Is there any way of getting around this? Preferably without having to download another program??

    This has prob been answered somewhere else in this forum, but i dont have time to search 300+ pages , forgive me! :p

    Hello.

    Since DVD Shrink is no longer updated it cannot overcome the newer strong copy protection schemes. Other programs are required.

    One of the easiest approaches is to use AnyDVD. It runs in the background to overcome all kinds of copy protection and to decrypt. It is not free but has a free trial and lifetime updates. Any and all programs, including DVD Shrink work with it.

    One totally free approach involves using DVDFab Decrypter along with Vobblanker. It is described in this guide:
