    here is the situation:

I tried to use a 163B drive (installed on primary IDE as a slave drive to my burner) with kreon 1.00 fw and xbox backup creator 2.8 to backup my games. I followed every step as stated in the testbook2008. But when I tried to rip my first game which is an original disk (Ninja Gaiden 2), it would stop at 3.39% and say:

    Processing Security Sector...

    (then)

    Get Security Sector Failed

    (then)

Invalid security sector detected. Please check disk and try again.

a box pops up with the options of abort, ignore, etc... and regardless of what i select the program hangs to the point where i have to power off my system and reboot as there is no excape even through task manager.

After repeating the process 6 more times with the same result i decided to try with a different game (GOW).

no suprise it stopped at processing security sector again, it looked like I was gonna get the same thing, but after a few more trials it maginally went through and completed the process. i was also able to verify the .iso is ixtreme compatible.

so i went back to the first game i tried to rip, still same thing happened. Same thing happens with Schtrom360Xtract4.0... which stops at 3% at the security sector extraction point.

Anyone know what is going on?
