Invalid Status from liteon after erase

    Every thing was fine until I erased I'm in vendor mode but its not showing a flash name nor a flash size!!! The ID says 0x90 Status 0x72 am I screwed :(

    if you were able to get all of your files off of it, the key, inquiry, dummy, and identify, you arent screwed. you can for a last resort try dosflash and the recovery method. not sure how to do it as i have yet to need it. also, not really sure how to help you on your current situation, just thought i would let you know you arent screwed yet.

    Thanks so do you need to take it out of vendor mode?

    Is it possible to repeat the erase again or is that a no go?

    I went to mirc all I had to do was reintro and it got the info I needed no I just have to test.

    If you get invalid status, close out of JF, shut the drive off, turn it back on, open up JF again and resend the Lite-ON erase. Usually that will fix the issue.
