I searched the forum before I post this new thread, but I wasn't able to post in a thread that's older than 60 days, so I am posting this thread.

Similar problem was addressed in http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/208159, but the problem still occurs even after I flashed in the latest firmware for my Sony DVD+-Rw Q58A DVD burner. I also tried a few different brand of media, the pricy $5 for 20 packs of HP discs and the shitty Staples brand ones, but none of them worked. Simulation was fine, but it couldn't burn anything as "Invalid Track Info" and "Invalid Field in Command" popped up.

    Here is the Nero Log:

The latest version is now 7.2.3.2. Try updating the program and see if the helps resolve the issue.

HP in my opinion is not a great brand. You might want to try other blank medias like Verbatum with the Super AZO Dye or Taiyo Yuden that squizzle suggested to nms11162. I've used Verbatums myself and they seem to work great.

    I figure out why.

I chose "simulation" mode before burning, while I only had 3.4gb hard drive space left (LOL!). Because if burns an image onto my hard drive first, then use that image to burn the disk when I choose simulation mode, there wasn't sufficient space.

    Anyway, thanks for replying BlinkN.
