ip changing

    hi, i was wondering is there anyway you can have your ip address constantly changed because i am worried about p2p. Also if there is would your isp take note of every ip change that happens?

    yeh you can get routers that change your ip everytime you go online.

    Your ISP will know everytime that the WAN IP is changed. It is an automatic process by the DHCP server that is wrote to a Syslog server. We use Cisco Network Registrar where I work for providing DHCP and I could easily look up who had what IP at what time on the log on the Syslog server.

    unless your internet service provider gives you a static ip (something you usually have to pay quite a bit for) your ip address changes everytime you sign onto the net anyway.

    your ISP knows absoloutly everything you look at and download and where it came from (near enough anyway)
