iphone 2.2

    Hi i have a iphone 2.2 version. do i have to downgrade to 2.1 to jailbreak my iphone? or can i just use quickpwn on it?

    no you don't have to downgrade to jailbreak it. However, if you are wanting to unlock it at some point, it is recommended to use 2.1 firmware to preserve the baseband. But in your case, since you already have 2.2, it doesn't matter.

    I didn't care about unlocking it, so I went ahead and jailbroke it at 2.2.

    Hi, i brought the iphone with the version 2.2 already on it (2nd hand) can you still jailbreak it? i read somewhere that you cant jailbreak it if you installed the official Apple 2.2 firmware.

    yes, you can still jailbreak it. I did it on mine with 2.2 on it. And yes, you can still unlock it with 2.2 firmware also.
