iPod 30GBVideo gets 'stuck/freezes' during playback.....?

    My iPod 30GBVideo gets stuck/freezes during video or audio playback.
    After quite a long time, it turns off and the battery becomes nil and then it has to be recharged.
    This has happened many times during playbacks and i'm fedup with it.
    Any1 knows whats the damn problem?
