ipod 4g to tv issue

    Hi, I just bought a cable from amazon to connect an ipod 4g to a tv via hdmi : . When i connect it to the tv I can get sound on you tube but no picture ,the ios is above 6 as pointed out on the description so I would appreciate any input or help with this ! cheers

    Is it an Apple-approved cable? More importantly what kind of a cable is it, some iPod-to-TV cables only support audio out and no video out. See what Apple has to say for the different cables: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4108
