Ok well im shipping my ipod in for repairs (whole different story) and i asked the lady and she said chances are they will just give me a new ipod because we think the screen is leaking. anyways, if i get a new ipod from apple i have like 15 videos ,(mostly movies), and over 200 songs, i know thats not alot, but it is when you must rename then because you downloaded them from limewire and the names are all wahcked out with the track umbers and all that uselessness. anyways, the question is, if i get a new ipod, will i be able to use it with the itunes i used for my old ipod, or will i need to reinstall itunes, putting my music BACK into it again, and ill have to rename everything again. If i dont need a new itunes, great!, but if i do, can you guys post any and all suggestions for backing up all of my music And videos. Thanks in advance, Rob
Nope!!! You are fine as long as all your songs and Videos are in iTunes!!! You wont need to reinstall iTunes on your comp. and even if you do you songs will transfer! You are better off just nout puting the ipod/itunes cd in your comp when you get your new iPod!!! You will manualy have to redjister your iPod at apple.com ~Domreis
You don't need to change anything. Just connect & sync. You don't really need to back anything up, beacause if your iPod fails, then you have it backed up on your HDD, and vice-versa.
