IPod Battery Life

    I've read in other posts that the life of the IPod battery is about 300 to 500 charge cycles.

    So... I tend to plug my IPod Video into my computer every morning after using it each evening. Would I increasing the battery life by letting it run down nearly completely before recharging it?

    is it bad for your ipod to charge it if the battery is almost full or all the way full? will it do any harm?
