my ipod won't turn on, so I want to charge it and you know that when the battery is completly spent it shows a black and white screen with a battery and a thunder sign next to it and then it works, it's not the case with my ipod. My ipod has that icon and it never changes the ipod is not connected to the pc and it is like that for over 2 days, I tried charging in on a new computer but still it doesn't work. please help
So it displays the charging icon even when it isn't plugged in? Try resetting it by holding Menu and Center. Have you been able to charge your iPod through your USB port before? If it just isn't charging, be sure you are using a USB 2.0 port, as the iPod can only charge through a powered USB port.
