So I've been getting sad about my iPod lately, it has some sort of disorder. But! It's a member of the family, so I'm going to do anything I can to save it I will.

Issue: overwrites old tracks in an odd manner; for example - trying to play from software - nexus soundtrack - number 1 - shining... what comes out of the earphones is NOT shining. it is the first song from the little miss sunshine soundtrack.

and so on through the tracks until number 18, at which point it resumes playing what is actually the nexus soundtrack.

the little miss sunshine soundtrack is in its proper place. it seems my ipod duplicated it overwriting part of nexus.

now this isnt really a big deal, i can just go grab the disks and throw them back on it, but!

    1. there are over 13000 songs on this ipod. this is one instance. there are quite a few albums i noticed that were overwritten. I cannot afford, timewise, to fix all this.

    2. how do i stop this from happening now. i considered ripping all the music from the ipod, reformatting, updating, and replacng... but.... UGH.

    3. i use winamp to manage my ipods music. it has never been reformatted. this ipod is my life, next to my best friend... please help.

    4. I hate itunes. i will only manage my ipod's music with it if this is THE cause.

    5. if you actually read all this, kudo's to you. lol
