I've got a 30GB IPOD Classic (1995) that's always worked without problems. I've just downloaded itunes 8 onto my PC (Windows XP) and now my ipod won't sync. The sync message flashes up but no data is transfered - either new songs onto the ipod or played data back to the PC - Can anybody help please???? Cheers Mike
does your ipod shows in itunes? if it does connect to itunes hold the control+shit keys on your keyboard this will stop the autosync for that moment, wait until you see your ipod screen go back to normal, you know the screen when itunes finish syncing, then click restore your ipod, make sure you have the lates firmware on your ipod as well. and just wait until it finish depending on your system about 30 to 40 minutes. That will probably fix your issue. Good luck.
