Can anyone out there tell me why this does this and what the fix is? I bought the item at an "Apple" store and they said that it wouldn't make it crash. They obviously didn't know what they were talking about.
Generally tape decks just plug into the headphone jack correct? If that's the case then all I can imagine is something is wrong with the headphone jack [not properly insulated or something] and its causing a short.
