I am following the post re copying songs from ipod to computer. oct/2005. When my ipod is plugged in to the computer with a usb cable it makes that ding dong sound and charges up so I am sure my cable is fine in the instruction it tells me to go to my computer and double click my ipod driver but it is not there I am running on windows xp desktop
Your problem is common this year. I can only guess that Apple has put in a 'death punch' into the ipod early this year. For some resaon you activated 'death punch'.
Check the other posts like this there were a few of these. No use repeting myself too much. I would post this on the Media Monkey script forum. I would switch over to MM to avoid this problem from reoccuring.
