I have a 5G Ipod 30GB. I recently bought a new system with Windows Vista Ulitmate. I have installed ITunes, but when I connect my Ipod, Windows searches for drivers and can't find anything. I've made it search my whole hard disk and it doesn't find any compatible drivers. Nothing shows up in Itunes or My Computer, and in Device Manager, it appears, saying that a driver is missing. Ive reinstalled Itunes twice with no luck. Any ideas?
I ended up fixing the problem. It turned out my usbstor.inf file was missing from the inf directory. A few people seem to be having this issue where this driver goes missing - easily fixed by downloading from the net and pasting it back in the directory
