    Hi,
I had my ipod for about a year and 3/4 and i used ipodwizard to install some games onto it. This worked fine. (im saying this because i think there might a conflicting firmware problem.) Then i used ipodwizard again with a background firmware and i was installing it i accidently yanked out the cord to the computer. Then it shut off to a black screen and it isnt recognized by my computer or itunes. I tried going through administrative tools and all the noobish reset things but nothing has worked so far. The battery was half charged when this happened and now its in a permanant sleep. A quick response and solution will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You might have to re-install the firmware from itunes then do your thing with ipod wizard again, try setting the ipod to recovery mode, hold the menu+center button until the ipod powers off, then, hold the play+center button until you see a check on the ipod screen, the ipod is now on recovery mode, lunch itunes, and connect the ipod, and you know the deal click restore, follow the instructions. Good luck
