Hey all. I'm new to the iPod community, and was wondering about some of the best add-on stuff.

I recently got an iPod mini, and bought a case for it at www.customijackets.com. I'm happy with it (it's tough - and WAY less expensive than frickin i-skins or those dorky fashion designer ones), but I was wondering if anyone here got a different design from that company. A picture doesn't always do the real thing justice.

Their designs are pretty cool, and I guess you can even make your own art for them (more for companies or bands, but still...)

And one other thing... anyone own a Griffin iTrip? I don't want to buy a CD player for my convertible, and wondered how those doohickies work.

I haven't used a 'jacket' for any of my iPods.

But as for the itrip, you hook it up to the top of your iPod, and you can play music from your iPod through any FM radio within a certain distance. (Mine is 10 metres, but it is not made by Griffin).

"any" of your ipods? how many do you have?

and do you normally just keep them in a pocket when you use them? i wear pretty tight jeans, and i think the clip that comes with the ipod is sorta janky.

    That's a bit off-topic, but I have currently got 2 iPods. I have had 4.

I have a belt clip for the iPod mini and an iSkin for the iPod 5g (Video).

IMO the iSkins are the best option for optimum protection (with a plastic screen shield). With a previous iPod (4g Photo), I had it in the iskin for about 3months. When I took it out it was still in pristine condition. Not a mark on it. And that is saying a lot as far as iPods go...
