    Hello everyone,

    My daughter seemed to have changed the language (thats displayed) to Chinese (looks Asian) and I'm having a hard time figuring out to change it back to english. I did try to reset the ipod, but that didn't seem to work. can some assist me in getting the language changed?

    Regards

    Chris

    Connect your iPod to your PC, and restore your iPod using the Updater;
    (look here for more information http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=60983 )

    Then, once your iPod has been restored, you can re-select your desired language, which will probably be english ;)

    You don't have to restore to change language. You can go to settings-->language, then change it that way. Since you can't understand the language, I'll walk you through it.

    Settings is the fifth one down on the main menu. Then, Language is thirteenth one down in settings. See if you can do it that way. If not, restore it as Lethal says.

    Or, at the bottom of the "settings" screen on the iPod, it says "reset all settings", no matter what language you use. Try that then you can select the language.
