Ipod Linux help

I was thinking of putting Ipod Linux on my Ipod and i wanted to know a few things about it.....
1)Can you put the songs on normally using Itunes?
2)Can i put the videos on the same way or a different way?
3)I have some movies i downloaded(if not allowed to say i will edit it)and i want to know do i have to do anything special to it or just stick it on there threw itunes (sorta like questions 2)
