Ipod mp4 or m4v or whatever its called

    I have converted some of my files to my ipod format and deleted the original divx files. Is there anyway I could convert the files back to a divx format (they were not bought off itunes)? If this is possible is there a free method to do this?

    You converted to AVC or SP MPEG-4? If you converted to SP MPEG-4 then you can simply remux to the divx media format, adding subs, menus, etc. You would need to use yamb/mp4box to demux the video to an avi first.
