Ipod.....NOT UPDATING!

    Okay so I see a lot of people on here have a somewhat similar problem,but some please please explain to me in really simple terms how to fix my problem.
    okay the prob is:
    that my ipod nano always used to update fine and smoothly,but just recently i added a couple of new songs to my itunes,and i plugged in my ipod thinking that it was going to update but as i waited and waited....AND WAITED for like 30 minutes,it didnt do ANYTHING!My itunes was open and my ipod was plugged in,but nothing absolutely nothing happened! I was trying to figure out what everyone on here was trying to explain for this problem but I just do not know what to do! I have tried soooooooo many things, like restarting my comp.unplugging my ipod and many other things but nothing worked,it just would not update!! please please PLEASE someone help meeeee!!!

    And nothing is wrong with my ipod,it works perfectly fine! It just doesnt update the new songs at all!!
    And I am dying to hear these songs on my ipod,yeah I know it sounds lame but can someone pleaseeee take the time out to help me?!

    Dose your computer recognize the iPod. If you go into My Computer do you see the iPod in there. Try updating iTunes.

    Actually I fixed it last night by myself,just by perssing menu and select at the same time while my ipod was plugged into the comp. and it worked in likeliterally 20 seconds!! I was soooo happy! but thank you soo much for willing to hep me, I appericiate it!

    Glad you fixed it. Pressing and holding the Menu and Select buttons for at least 6 seconds puts the iPod in Disk Mode.
