Boy, I have just been having the problems with my new Ipod Nano lately!! I finally figured out how to make videos work, but now, what the problem is, is that the songs will not play even if they are on "play." I do not hear anything and the track is not actually playing so I know it cant be the headphones. My IPod is on play but it doesnt actually play, and this is the case with several different songs.

    Help please?!

    Thank you!

yea Try Restoring the ipod this will re-copy all your files, but make sure they will play on the computer first. another issue that the new ipods are having, if you have music on your computer ripped with an older versiong of itunes pre- 7 they will not play you will have to re-rip those songs and then re-sync. Good Luck.

IN order to view all your ipod content outside of itunes, you need to set your ipod to disk mode by pressing the menu and select botton once the ipod shuts down hold the select and play botton until you see a check mark on the screen of the ipod, now you can use it as a disk drive , you have to make all the hidden files visible by going folder search and option and select show hidden files. i posted some pics im using vista but xp is the same, you gotta choose to show hidden files.
