    Hi,

My Grand-daughter has a 30gig Ipod, the thing would not synic so downloaded updates and installed on the system, then when we plugged in her Ipod, it gave a message that music and videos tha she bought from Ipod were not authorised and so now she has lost her music and her music videos and for a 12 year old thats a lot of money and effort on her part.

Can anyone suggest how to load these back on her ipod, seems to be user unfriendly really.

    Windows Xp system

    Any help would be appreciated.

In iTunes, go to Store=>Check for Purchases. That will add all the files she has purchased back into iTunes, then you can sync as usual.

Might I suggest, since she is only 12 and can't afford many songs I assume, that you use Limewire. As long as you stop sharing the files after you download you are fairly safe from viruses and spyware. Just my suggestion. ;-)
