My iPod has started to skip and sometimes give a swirling kind of screeching noise when it's playing music. Sometimes when I select an album to play it will skip a few songs and start playing from a random track or just skip through the whole album and return to the menu screen. Also, sometimes when I turn it on a sad iPod face will come up saying to go to support (I've done everything it says here, even restoring my iPod, and I still have these problems), but when I reset it, it will start up again. Any suggestions on whats wrong or what I should do?
You likely have a faulty hardrive. If it is still under warranty you can take it back to Apple and they'll fix it without problem.
