IPod + Swapmagic 3.6 + Games = Black Screen

I try to use my ipod as an external HD for my Slim. but somehow, the games do not work.
I put the game in "SWAPMAGIC" folder, already rename to "SMBOOT0.elf". Then i plug my ipod into my PS2 (v12) and hit Up+L1, the screen goes black. I use the same method to load USBadvance and it works just fine except it does recognize my iPod. Any idea?

if USB advance does recognise your ipod, then putt the app on your ipod,
load usb advance and then load the app from USBadvance through your ipod.

 

has your ipod been formated to FAT?

Yes, my ipod is FAT32. It is weird that SM can load USBAdvance but not the games.

 

Sometimes the ps2 is picky about what sort of device you use as the usb.
try format into fat 16, otherwise just buy a cheap usb if you can be bothered.
