I have tried Anapod, and I have to say, it's a great program for iPod management...much better than iTunes is. The good thing about Anapod is that it allows you to copy songs from your iPod [bold]to[/bold] your PC - smething which iTunes doesn't allow for.. Excellent little application..

I use PodUtil and I love it. I use it for Podcasts>Laptop>Nano>Desktop. Very easy to use.

Anapod EXP.lorer, Lethal_B, is this what you are talking about, correct??? Is this stand-alone or rather replaces Itunes or works with Itunes??
I will ask Peterl the same for podutil, stand-alone or can coexist with Itunes???
I have both these (on a CD) from a Ipod Magazine called MacWorld from UK I just purchased the other day. I am reluctant to try till I know how good it is. Any conflicts with Itunes ???

I have the unregestered version of PodUtil. The advanced (pay) version says it can import directly to iTunes. I just click "add file" in iTunes to get the tracks into my library. So, for my purposes it doesn't co-exist with iTunes,I use then in conjuction with each other. My brother and cousin have been using it for 2 years, me for 1 with no problems.
I hope my answer helps. I'm a bit of a 'noobie.

Anapod is not a direct plug-in, so to speak, it compliments iTunes when you use it. You can explore deeper into your iPod and do things with it that iTunes cannot, like transfer songs to your PC/Mac (Which is it's main use). The only thing is, as with all iPod related softwares, you cannot run it at the same time as you are running the updater..
