Just bought the Ipod 16GB model last friday and the issue I am exp. is uploading music to my ipod and having the music play without skipping. I exchanged the Ipod once already so I just didnt get stuck with a "bad" Ipod. I upload all my music to my Ipod and during some songs they skip, WiFi off. Now there is nothing wrong with the files because they play fine on my computer and on my last gen Ipod.

I have tried uploading it 1-3 cds at a time or all of them at the same time and the problem still conts.

Anyone ever hear of this issue? I dont have the music synced auto so that I control what is put on there so maybe thats the problem, will try that later but dont see why that would be the issue. All the files are mp3 and none of them are bought from Itunes.

Thanks for any info on this pressing issue.

i was having this issue with my old ipod mini, songs will skip even when they play fine on the computer. also it was happening reasonly on my ipod video, Try restoring the ipod on itunes, connect the ipod and hit restore, this will refresh the os on the ipod and wait for all your files to get sync again, it worked for me. Good luck.

I though it was an encoding issue, lol.
